Separation Anxiety Can Be Stressful For Both Dogs And Guardians.

Here’s how our structured programs have helped families build new skills.

Thanks for everything Fanna!!

I can not say enough great things about Fanna and her business, Positive Pooch Behavior. My dog had severe separation anxiety before we worked with Fanna and he is so much better now. Her program is easy to understand and implement into everyday life. I don’t have to worry about leaving my dog at home any more, he is so much happier.

IT’S A MIRACLE AND I’M SO HAPPY!

Arley is doing great, she’s seriously like a different dog! I seriously am so ecstatic that I can leave her out, she’s not destructive and hasn’t been anxious!

I am leaving her out every time I leave the house, including when I go to work, and she’s being so good!!! Today I left and watched her on the camera and she knows when I’m in scrubs I’m going to work. She just watched me from her dog bed didn’t even get up when I left for the day!

We HAD two dogs with separation anxiety!

I wanted to send you a huge thank you for everything! We will continue working with the boys with our separation anxiety protocols.  So happy to see them make progress.  Again appreciate everything you provided for us and the boys!!!!

I can’t believe it, it’s a miracle.

In the beginning, Panda would scream when I left him alone longer than 10 seconds. When I changed into my work clothes, he became sad. He barked at any and all noises. Now, Panda can stay home alone for 4 1/12 hours! He calmly looks out the window of my apartment and chills. I can’t believe it, it’s a miracle. Thank you!

I can't thank you enough.

I can’t thank you enough for helping Mary’s separation anxiety. I actually enjoy looking at her through our doggy cam now- she’s up to 7 hours home alone. GAH! I’m so proud of her.

We got help with separation anxiety.

My husband and I worked with Fanna Easter, and she is amazing. She is very patient, kind, and KNOWS dogs. Definitely fear-free and positive training only.

She also helped us while not living in the area (all virtual). I was worried about that at first, BUT with our anxious pup, it was amazing. We didn’t have to spend money on 10 sessions to just get her used to Fanna before moving onto the actual issues, we could start on the main things right away.

Our programs give guardians science-based tools to reduce these behaviors and improve quality of life.

My Rock Eating Dog

I was unsure if this would work, but it did. Shelia has not eaten or chewed rocks since our program. Thank you.

It's Sparkle Time!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I no longer need to close the blinds AND curtains to prevent “sparkles” on the walls and floor.

We Can Walk Without Spins

Didn’t think my Bull Terrier would ever stop spinning when seeing deer, or anything else, on walks. Now, she turns away. Thank you!

Every Dog Is Unique.

Our individualized lessons give guardians personalized strategies for their dog’s specific needs.

Cooper is doing so GREAT now!

He’ll even skid to a stop right before a toy if I say ‘leave it!’ (No more resource guarding!) We have been able to go on whole walks without barking & pulling after other dogs. And while that’s still ‘in progress’ – it’s so much better! Thank you again for teaching me how to ‘talk’ to Cooper and understand his world. It has made such a huge difference!

I want highlight how AWESOME Fanna is!

It has only been about 6 months since I adopted Rush, but living in an apartment with lots of other dogs, I quickly realized that he wasn’t “normal”. I received recommendations from coworkers about overnight boot camps where they use shock collars to enforce submission. I really wasn’t in love with that idea because I didn’t want them to steal Rush’s joy and energy (those are some of his best attributes).

I really wasn’t expecting much given that it was only a couple of training sessions, but Fanna was amazing. She broke everything down into realistic training techniques that are actually attainable for us. The training has helped immensely and we’re so excited to keep practicing at home.

We enthusiastically recommend Fanna to anyone.

My husband asked me recently, “Where would we be if we hadn’t met Fanna?”  I can honestly answer, “I have no idea.”  When we met Fanna Easter we were frazzled puppy parents.  Our pair of 4 month old English bulldog puppies, Winston and Lizzie, were not getting along with each other.  And when they started becoming fearful of strangers, other dogs, and random objects around our house we knew we needed the help of an expert.  One of the things we admire most about Fanna is that she is a “people person” as much as she is a “dog person”.  During our initial consultation she was empathetic and never judgmental.  Her knowledge, intelligence, and skill were obvious from the start.  Fanna provided us with a training and behavior modification plan that we could implement immediately.   These exercises helped us build confidence and coping skills in our fearful dogs. Our Little Lizzie now happily participates in group classes and is working on her M.A. in the APDT My Dog Has Class program.

Did I mention that before working with Fanna we were twice kicked out of puppy school?   Winston has participated in Nose Games classes and now loves having company visit our home.  There is no more fence fighting with the neighbor’s dog.  There is no more growling at guests in our home.  Our dogs can now get along with each other and enjoy tug, chase, and wrestling each other on the sofa.  It’s for all these reasons, and so many more, that we enthusiastically recommend Fanna to anyone whose dog is fearful, anxious, or easily excitable.

I can already see improvement!

Thank you so much for all of your help and guidance with training Winston. I can already see improvement! We tried a different training class and it was good but I’ve definitely learned a lot more from your. You gave tips that would work especially for Winston. That has been a huge help!! I never felt overwhelmed. Everything you taught was very manageable for me and for Winston. I’m so glad Dr. Jenny Rich (our veterinary neurologist) told us about you!!

Thank you!

Sheila is doing A LOT better at the vet’s office. They’ve noticed a lot of improvement with her. She lets them do anything they want to her now. Thank you!

Fanna is worth every penny.

I ran into Fanna by accident, I was desperate. Maverick had bitten two people and I was at my wit’s end. Recently, I sent him to boot camp for a month, he was better for a week. When he tried to bite someone again, I had to do something. Fanna did not preach. She made suggestions, and we got busy training Mav during our lesson. I’m shocked at the difference now, he walks away instead of trying to bite someone. I threw away Mav’s shock collar, it didn’t work and I think made him worse. Now I understand what to do, Mav is much better. Fanna is worth every penny.
